John Blanchard
John Blanchard has over thirty years experience as a counselor in business and entrepreneurial matters, with a focus on business acquisitions, corporate structuring, employment contracts and succession planning. John also has substantial experience with real estate development and real estate transactions. John’s background includes both the legal and the practical sides of business and real estate transactions, having co-founded several tech-related companies and developed hotel and other commercial properties. He has also served on the board of a number of companies. John graduated from the University of Washington in Journalism and Advertising, and did a stint in the advertising business in New York City, before returning to the UW to attend law school, where he graduated with honors. Having been a senior partner at a major Seattle law firm, John brings “large firm” and “complex transaction” experience to his current local and regional clients. A native North Westerner, John lists flying his floatplane, fishing for salmon and writing a novel among his personal pursuits.
